Management in family micro-enterprises dedicated to the export of “green gold”

Abstract

This article provides a description and structure of the bibliographic information regarding previous studies on the current situation of the working methods of family micro-enterprises that export avocados in the northern region of the state of Michoacán de Ocampo. It focuses on the lack of administration, processes, and other essential characteristics that every company must have to achieve productivity, economic stability, and a presence in international trade. This research highlights the benefits that administrative implementation can bring to these families, including the long-term presence of microenterprises in the business sector, continuous job creation, and economic stability for both the owners and workers. This is achieved through administrative education, which is naturally provided by properly applying administrative processes and introducing technologies in both the technical and administrative areas of these avocado-exporting companies.
