Policy on the document referencing system

IP

IPSUMTEC Journal adopts the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) citation style for the presentation and formatting of bibliographic references in all manuscripts submitted for evaluation and publication.

In-Text Citation Format

In-text citations must be presented using consecutive numbers enclosed in square brackets [ ], assigned according to their order of appearance in the document. Each number must correspond to a single, correlative entry in the "References" section, located at the end of the article, following the same numerical citation order.

Formatting Standards

References must comply with the provisions established in the official IEEE Reference Guide (2023), applying the format, punctuation, and structure corresponding to each type of source cited (books, journal articles, websites, theses, conference papers, among others).

Link Verification

Authors are strongly encouraged to verify that all links, DOIs, or web addresses included in the references are active and accessible at the time of final manuscript submission.
