Negative incidents during the movement of goods are of high interest to the management of transport companies. These incidents have become a serious problem for the organization, since there is no control to improve the accident rate and consequently the human factor is affected. Recklessness, excessive workload and lack of operator training is the common denominator in accidents (maneuvers, traffic closures, road exits, reaches, rollovers, among others). The development of this research was carried out through a quantitative longitudinal study; in which a continuous training program was implemented for the operators involved in the terminals most affected by road accidents. Likewise, the use of cameras with artificial intelligence was adopted to detect the driving habits of the operators. Based on the above, a database was generated in a tracking platform that generated alerts in real time so that management actions were given to prevent accidents. Through this intervention, the accident rate was reduced. The conclusions derived from the study and recommendations for future research are presented.
