Impact of perception, memory and intelligence on student learning in a higher institution: a documentary research

This paper presents the results of a documentary research on the concepts of Perception, Memory and Intelligence. For these topics, the research presented related to the areas of interest that exist in the literature, as well as topics related to student learning, were examined. In this context, to determine if perception, memory and intelligence influence the learning of students of a Higher Education Institution - HIE, the design and validation of a questionnaire-type measurement instrument is required that allows retrieving information on the topics of interest.
It was found that the literature relates these 3 concepts to the learning variable; the search and selection process of academic literature on the object of study includes conference papers, magazines, research reports published from 2015 to 2022, the criteria that were used in the publications of these concepts in the absence of correspondence with a type of academic bibliography.
The results agree that there is a relationship of the 3 variables with the topic of interest-learning of the students of a HEI, so it is necessary to deepen the integration of an analysis model to define strategic actions for the investigation of these concepts in student learning.
It is a line that would allow contrasting experiences and opinions, and distinguishing values to work strategically in an institution, according to the contingencies of each HEI.
