Abstract

This paper presents the methodology followed in the development of a digital inventory control system implemented at the Secretariat of Planning, Finance, and Administration (SPFA) of the State of Puebla. The project was developed using Google's no-code AppSheet platform. The methodology applied included documentation, requirements analysis, table design, system development, and results evaluation. The main objective was to replace manual and scattered records with an automated, accessible, and secure application.

Author Biographies

Serbando García López , National Technological Institute of Mexico

Serbando García López has a Master's degree in Information Technology from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He currently works as a lecturer at the Puebla Institute of Technology, where he teaches specialized subjects in the Logistics Engineering degree program, creating links with the business sector, such as with the company Tesselar, which is an SAP ERP partner in Mexico, to prepare and certify students in their final semester in this system and thus include them in its workforce. He has also collaborated in the private sector, such as the textile industry, where he has been in charge of business systems and responsible for supply and distribution logistics.

Filiberto Gonzalez Guarneros , National Technological Institute of Mexico

Filiberto González Guarneros works at the National Technological Institute of Mexico, Puebla Technological Institute campus. He holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He worked in the IT department of a national transport company, developing systems and as Head of the Business Unit. Management Systems Auditor.

María Teresa López Aburto , National Technological Institute of Mexico

M.A. and G.I.E. María Teresa López Aburto is a professor in the Department of Economics and Administration at the National Technological Institute of Mexico/Technological Institute of Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. She currently holds the position of Head of the Department of Extracurricular Activities at the Technological Institute of Puebla. From 2022 to 2024, she led the coordination of external services within the Outreach Department of the same institution.

Violeta Martínez Ramírez , National Technological Institute of Mexico

Dr. Violeta Martínez Ramírez, who studied Computer Systems Engineering in Programming, holds a Master's Degree in Education Sciences and a Doctorate in Education. She is a professor in the Systems and Computing Department at the Technological Institute of Puebla, teaching mainly Programming in Information Technology and Communications Engineering. She is the leader of the PRODEP Desirable Profile (2020), leader of the Academic Body “Applied Computing” (2021), and head of Outreach Projects (2020).

Brandon Trejo Herrera , National Technological Institute of Mexico

Brandon Trejo Herrera is an engineer currently completing his degree in Information Technology and
Communications. I have participated in web development projects, notably my collaboration with the
Secretariat of Planning, Finance, and Administration of the State of Puebla, where I contributed to the development of an institutional directory and the management and updating of the portal of courses offered to state government employees. My main areas of interest include cybersecurity, web development, and application creation using no-code platforms.
