Abstract

This paper aims to show the importance of the relationship between quality, reliability, and reliability engineering in systems within manufacturing companies, service companies and higher education centers in Mexico. Some elements of the regulations are included, specifically iso 9001:2015 and aft 16949 and the use of the basic concepts of reliability.  Classic automotive systems and the reliability of a higher education system are analyzed.
