Abstract

This article was developed from the results obtained by applying the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology in the automotive industry latch process. The objective of this research was to reduce the main defect that is generated is the production line of latches. This article presents how to implement the DMAIC methodology as an element of continuous improvement in defect reduction practice.
