Abstract

It refers to online stores that are dedicated to this business. Over the years, electronic commerce has seen significant growth, and the economic crisis of 2020 greatly accelerated its adoption among consumers. E-commerce has revolutionized traditional commerce by offering unparalleled convenience and customization. As a result, it has become a key business model for many brands around the world.

The industry's growth was further spurred by its 24/7 availability and home delivery services, which encouraged households to make purchases during the social isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many companies were able to survive financially by shifting to online sales. Given the increasing importance of e-commerce in the global marketplace and its role in facilitating the dissemination of product catalogs for purchase or sale, this study explores the creation of an e-commerce system implemented for a company specializing in the sale of security equipment. The company chose to expand its reach through the internet, aiming to access a wider consumer base.
