The Tecnológico Nacional de Mexico applies active strategies focused on problem solving through tutorials to facilitate the transition from upper secondary education to higher education.Students are interested in attending tutorial meetings where they can learn about the organization, rules, and duties of the institution. The objective of this research is to know the interests and services demanded by students during their first two semesters of the degree. The methodology followed according to the specific objectives is the following: 1. Investigate the background to know the topics of interest in the current generations of the first and second semester in higher education. Various updated sources on the interests of Generation Z were consulted. 2. Selection of the topics of interest to be investigated in the instrument. 3. Develop the questions to be used in the survey and enter them into the platform. 4. Analyze the results of the survey and select the topics to work on during the year as tutorial activities. The results show that the main interests among the students surveyed are English courses and meeting graduation objectives, time management and study techniques, managing personal finances, and increasing contact with their tutor. It is suggested to improve the connection between tutors and students using the communication channels preferred by Generation Z and organizing conferences and talks on topics of interest to students. It is also suggested to provide information on important procedures such as life insurance to access medical and mental health services. Attention should be paid to frequently failed subjects and research conducted to identify the teaching strategies preferred by this generation.
