More than 992,000 women in Mexico work in production chains, whether primary or secondary. These women play an important role in agricultural production; it is vital to monitor how they are in terms of growth, development, and the strategies that are being carried out by authorities at all levels, both federal and state, to improve their quality of life.
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the agricultural production systems where women study and work in the municipality of Celaya, Guanajuato, and to know directly the conditions or characteristics that prevail, as well as the conditions of health, housing, their social environment, and develop strategies for improvement in the medium and long term.
The proposed instrument has a challenge: to eliminate the prejudices and resistance that still exist towards the incorporation of women and improve the conditions available to the agricultural production systems, always seeking the gender perspective, which will allow understanding the scope and possibilities that bring with them their implementation for the full development of the country.
Establishing which are the growth and development with a gender perspective in the municipality of Celaya, Guanajuato, concludes with a proposal for action to address the conditions that women have in agricultural production systems, their growth and development related to the policies that exist regarding gender perspectives in the municipality of Celaya, Guanajuato.
