Abstract

This paper explores the implementation of R Project, an open source statistical software and programming environment, in the field of exact science teaching due to its flexibility, analysis and visualization capacity. R Project provides students with a tool capable of performing data analysis and solving complex problems in fields such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and statistics. The implementation of R Project in the classroom gives teachers the possibility to promote a practical and participatory approach in the teaching of exact sciences.
