Copyright and Self-Archiving Policy

Authors who publish in the IPSUMTEC Journal agree to the following terms:

* Retention of rights: Authors retain the copyright (moral and economic rights) to their works and grant the journal the right of first publication of their work.

* Open Access License: Simultaneously, the published work will be subject to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows third parties to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format, as well as adapt or transform the content, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal.

* Additional Agreements: Authors retain the right to enter into other independent and additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in this journal (for example, including it in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, or publishing it as a book chapter), provided that it is explicitly stated that the work was first published in IPSUMTEC and its respective permanent link (DOI) is included.

* Encouragement of Self-Archiving: Authors are permitted and actively encouraged to self-archive and disseminate their work online (on their personal websites, academic profiles such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu, and institutional networks) in both the accepted version (postprint) and the final formatted version (version of record). This practice increases visibility, accelerates scientific dissemination, and enhances the impact of the research.
