Application of charges for publication

If a submitted manuscript is officially Accepted for publication in IPSUMTEC, the authors are required to cover an Article Processing Charge (APC).

  • Recovery Fee: $5,000.00 MXN (Five thousand Mexican pesos) per article.

  • Fee Conditions: This rate applies exclusively to papers with a maximum of five (5) authors.

  • Purpose of the Charge: This payment is solely intended to cover expenses related to the editorial process, peer review, copyediting, proofreading, typesetting (layout production), digital platform maintenance, and the long-term preservation and dissemination of the journal's content.

  • Submission Policy: The journal does not charge any submission or evaluation fees; charges apply only after the manuscript has been officially accepted.

Payment Notification Process: Once the deposit or wire transfer is completed, authors must send a scanned copy of the payment receipt (clear image or PDF) to the following email addresses:

  • Cc (Editorial Management): revistaipsumtec@itmilpaalta.edu.mx

Deadlines and Administrative Requirements:

  • Upon receipt and verification of the payment voucher, the editorial team will have a maximum period of 15 business days to perform final proofreading, styling, layout checks, persistent identifier assignments, and proceed with the official publication of the article.

  • To successfully conclude the editorial process and proceed with publication, full compliance with all institutional administrative requirements, including the issuance of the corresponding tax invoice, is mandatory.
