Impact of the dissemination of health safety and prevention measures during the widespread COVID 19 pandemic city of knowledge

Abstract

This applied research work, in the face of the contingency of COVID-19, focused on the impact of dissemination and dissemination, which consists of developing a plan for the awareness campaign aimed at the Technological Community of the City of Knowledge extension, on health safety and prevention measures, with the purpose of a safe return to face-to-face classes for the January-June 2022 semester. The objective is to achieve through awareness, each member of the community appropriates self-care to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The campaign was developed in eight steps, based on the CONABIP Technical Assistance Service guide, the steps to follow were: 1) Diagnosis: here communication needs were detected in the Technological Community 2) Population: the different groups that make up the Technological Community were segmented 3) The objectives were raised based on the diagnosis defining in time and form of the awareness campaign. 4) Define means and communication strategies: the Technological Community was informed of the prevention measures and the protocol of the Health Management System, 5) Develop messages: determine the appropriate language of each segment that makes up the Technological Community, 6) Carry out the campaign: the awareness campaign is executed, 7) Evaluate the campaign: in order to monitor suspected cases and confirmed cases and 8) Results achieved: the objective of this point is to control suspected cases and confirmed cases through corrective actions.

In the control of suspected cases and confirmed cases, the registry is monitored every week in order to follow up and address the findings in order to take immediate corrective actions to maintain continuous improvement in the system and in turn protect the Technological Community from the risks of contagion.
