Anti-plagiarism policy
IPSUMTEC maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism across all scientific publications. To ensure academic integrity and content originality, all manuscripts undergo a rigorous verification process using the specialized software Turnitin and Compilatio.
Authors are requested to independently verify their manuscripts prior to submission in order to prevent complications during the editorial process. Furthermore, IPSUMTEC urges authors to respect the intellectual property of other researchers through proper citation and referencing of sources consulted in their articles.
Any manuscript in which plagiarism is detected will be permanently rejected and will not be published on the journal's platform under any circumstances.
If an author identifies an infringement of their copyright in any work published by IPSUMTEC, they are requested to report the situation with appropriate supporting evidence, enabling the editorial committee to implement the corresponding corrective measures. For inquiries related to plagiarism cases, authors are encouraged to contact IPSUMTEC immediately.
Editorial Actions for High Similarity Indices

| Above 30% | Permanent rejection of the manuscript due to inadequate citation and/or poor paraphrasing. No resubmission will be accepted under this condition. |
| Between 10% and 20% | The editor may return the manuscript to the author for revision, requiring the inclusion of proper citations in all sections with detected matches, as well as adequate paraphrasing, even if a reference has already been provided. |
| Below 10% | The manuscript may be accepted or may require improvements to the citation system. Appropriate references must be included for all text segments derived from external sources. |
For similarity indices between 10-20% and below 10%, authors must thoroughly review the manuscript, incorporate the required citations, and properly paraphrase the content identified as similar. The article must then be resubmitted along with a new Turnitin report demonstrating the absence of plagiarism and a similarity index below 10%.
