Open Access Policy

IPSUMTEC Journal, published by the Instituto Tecnológico de Milpa Alta, part of the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), adheres to the principles established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which promotes the free availability of scientific information as a mechanism for fostering the global exchange of knowledge.

The journal has maintained an Open Access policy since its first volume, published in 2018. Accordingly, all content published by IPSUMTEC Journal is immediately available free of charge and without access restrictions.

Under this policy, users are entitled to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of the published articles, as well as to use them for any lawful purpose without requiring prior authorization from the publisher or authors, provided that proper credit is given to the original authorship and source of publication.

Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits the reuse, adaptation, remixing, and distribution of content in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and the journal.
